犬猝死癥患病犬發(fā)病急,死亡快,多在死前1h狂燥不安,嚎叫,四處撞壁,轉(zhuǎn)圈運(yùn)動(dòng),口吐白沫,呼吸急促,發(fā)抖抽搐,臥地不起,不時(shí)呻吟,四肢劃動(dòng),角弓反張,很快昏迷而死。病程長(zhǎng)者可拖延數(shù)小時(shí)而抗原抗體。
死亡犬結(jié)膜淤血,天然孔潔凈,擠壓抗原抗體排出正常糞便。剖檢時(shí)可見(jiàn)猝死犬腹部膨脹,腸管內(nèi)充滿氣體及紫紅色粥樣物,病變以小腸zui嚴(yán)重,胃底、小腸黏膜充血或彌漫性出血。腦膜可見(jiàn)出血點(diǎn)。
犬猝死癥發(fā)病急,病犬往往來(lái)不及治療,治療也缺少有效辦法,病死率很高。且發(fā)病死亡犬多為青壯齡犬,給我國(guó)養(yǎng)犬業(yè)造成了很大威脅。為此,有人在全國(guó)范圍內(nèi)開(kāi)展犬猝死癥的病原及病因調(diào)查,收集到猝死病犬病料165份,檢驗(yàn)分析表明89%猝死犬有以下三種病因:產(chǎn)氣莢膜梭菌感染、氟乙酰胺中毒(又名敵殺死、抗原抗體,一種毒性較大的滅鼠藥)、肉毒梭菌毒素中毒。其中產(chǎn)氣莢膜梭菌占75%以上,后兩種各占18%和7%。
卡疤是指接種卡介苗2-3個(gè)月后,在接種部位(多在左胳膊)形成的抗原抗體。在抗原抗體出現(xiàn)之前,通常在接種部位還侍出現(xiàn)紅腫、化膿的現(xiàn)象。

許多固體培養(yǎng)基能用作分離培養(yǎng)幽門(mén)螺桿菌的基礎(chǔ)培養(yǎng)基。例如:腦心浸液瓊脂、哥倫比亞瓊脂、布氏瓊脂和M-H瓊脂等。但必需加入適量的全血(馬、羊或人)或胎牛血清作為補(bǔ)充物。加入適量的活性炭(0.2%)或淀粉(1%)亦有利于吸收培養(yǎng)基中衍化產(chǎn)生的毒性氧離子。
