3月3日科技部社會發(fā)展科技司也發(fā)表《國家重點研發(fā)計劃“大氣污染防治”重點專項實施方案(征求意見稿)》,其中提到要加強對污染源解析方法等研究。治理霧霾,控制大氣污染,要對PM2.5的具體組成成份進行分析,方可達到真正控制大氣污染的目的。
PM2.5中無機元素種類較多,鉛、鐵、鋅、鈣、鎘等有害金屬或類金屬元素常被檢出。不同金屬元素的濃度范圍相差很大,在數(shù)十甚至數(shù)百個ppm至ppt級的范圍內(nèi),對儀器及檢測方法提出了較高要求。ICP-MS具有諸多優(yōu)點,是測定顆粒物中的無機元素技術(shù)的發(fā)展趨勢之一。環(huán)保標(biāo)準(zhǔn)HJ657-2013《空氣和廢氣顆粒物中鉛等金屬元素的測定-電感耦合等離子體質(zhì)譜法》便將ICP-MS檢測技術(shù)納入了法規(guī)。
zui近,來自美國斯克里普斯研究所(TSRI)、梅奧診所和其他機構(gòu)的一個研究小組,確定了一類新的藥物,可在動物模型中顯著減緩老化過程——緩解虛弱癥狀,改善心臟功能,延長健康壽命??茖W(xué)家將這種新的藥物稱為“senolytics”。這一新的研究結(jié)果發(fā)表于三月九日出版的《Aging Cell》雜志。
TSRI教授Paul Robbins指出:“我們認(rèn)為,這項研究是開發(fā)延長健康壽命或與年齡有關(guān)疾病和障礙的治療方法(可安全地給予患者)的*步。當(dāng)我們所發(fā)現(xiàn)的senolytic進入臨床使用時,結(jié)果可能是變革性的。”
這項新研究的資深作者、梅奧診所的James Kirkland博士說:“研究證明,這些senolytic藥物的原型,不僅僅只是減輕衰老相關(guān)的多個特征。它zui終能夠可行地延遲、防止、減輕或逆轉(zhuǎn)多種慢性疾病和殘疾,而不是一次只針對一種情況。”
發(fā)現(xiàn)靶標(biāo)
衰老的細(xì)胞——已停止分裂的細(xì)胞,隨著年齡的增長而積累并加速老化過程。通過殺死這些細(xì)胞能夠延長小鼠的“健康壽命”(無疾病時間),因此科學(xué)家們推斷,尋找能夠在人類中完成這一使命的治療方法,可能有著巨大的潛力。
但是,科學(xué)家們面臨的問題是,如何識別和靶定衰老細(xì)胞而不損害其他細(xì)胞。研究小組懷疑,衰老細(xì)胞對應(yīng)力和損傷所致死亡的抵抗力,可以提供一條線索。事實上,使用轉(zhuǎn)錄本分析,研究人員發(fā)現(xiàn),如癌細(xì)胞一樣,衰老細(xì)胞的“促存活網(wǎng)絡(luò)”表達增加,可幫助它們抵抗細(xì)胞凋亡或程序性細(xì)胞死亡。這一發(fā)現(xiàn)為尋找潛在的候選藥物,提供了關(guān)鍵的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

Find the target
Aging cells - cells that have stopped dividing, accumulate with age and accelerate the aging process. However, scientists are faced with the question of how to identify and target senescent cells without damaging other cells. In fact, using transcript analysis, the researchers found that, like cancer cells, the "pro-survival network" expression of senescent cells is increased, helping them to resist apoptosis or programmed cell death. This finding provides the key criteria for finding potential drug candidates.
Using these criteria, the team focused on the two available compounds, the anticancer drug dasatinib (trade name Sprycel®), and quercetin, a natural compound sold as a supplement, which is a Antihistamines and anti-inflammatory drugs.
