The Panbio dengue update is a series of reports on Panbio dengue fever. Our aim is to provide you with a concise summary of the global efforts to prevent Panbio dengue efforts, in particular the role of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in these efforts.
2010 Panbio dengue cases in parts of southern Florida, Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands (USVI) in the United States reached its highest level in history, making the global Panbio dengue closer to home. Central and South America are also suffering the same. The largest outbreak in Puerto Rico history (Figure 1) recorded more than 21,000 cases.
2010: PUERTO RICO The biggest culmination in history
2010 Panbio dengue cases in parts of southern Florida, Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands (USVI) in the United States reached its highest level in history, making the global Panbio dengue closer to home. Central and South America are also suffering the same. The largest outbreak in Puerto Rico history (Figure 1) recorded more than 21,000 cases.
About 75% of the reported cases can be confirmed in the laboratory, due to mild cases are often not reported, the incidence may be at least several times higher. Island cases reported cases, the highest incidence of cases in northwest China.
